Our Adoption Process
Our goal with our Adoption program is place pets in their forever home, so a great match is important to us. We know that loving homes come in all shapes and sizes and we work with our adopters to find the pet that will fit the best for their lifestyle.
At PACK, we not only care deeply about what's best for the pets in our care, but setting our adopters up for success so they feel supported as they take on a new journey with their new companion.

If you see a PACK dog or cat that you think would be a great addition for your family, you can apply to adopt them here. A generous $15 donation for your application helps us cover the fees and volunteer time that goes into processing your application.
Vet Check
For the care and safety of your pets and ours, we require proof of certain veterinary records prior to the virtual meet. This can be sent to us as part of the application, or afterwards by sending to vetcheck@packaa.org.
All pets in the household must be:
-
Up-to-date on their Rabies vaccine
-
Up-to-date on their Distemper vaccine
-
Spayed or neutered unless discouraged by a vet for age or medical reasons
Step 1:
Apply to Adopt
Once we receive your application, we will reach out to request any additional information and schedule a virtual home visit and conversation about the dog or cat you’re interested in.an ask any more questions that you may have.
Step 2:
Initial Contact
We love meeting our adopters and we feel like a virtual home visit is the best way to get to know you and what you’re looking for in a pet to ensure a good match.
We can do the virtual meet via FaceTime, Zoom, Google Meet, or Facebook Messenger.
Step 3:
Virtual Home Visit
If everything goes well, after this step, you will receive your approval to adopt with PACK! We will then put you in touch with the foster, if you haven't connected with them already, so you can ask any more questions that you may have.
Step 4:
Approval
Once approved, you can arrange a time with the foster to meet the pet and, if it’s a match, adopt!
